| Infertility Awareness Week | If you checked into my stories & you made it to the end : thank you. I know I got a little carried away. This is a big week for us. This week demonstrates a struggle that has become an instrumental part that has redefined who we are as people.

If you want a little "history" on how this week has shaped us through our infertility, then I encourage you to listen to my stories from today. I shared how this year, during this trying week, I am choosing to share the positive attributes that have come from this journey. Each day a new photo, just as I am, & an impactful word that I hold as a new characteristic found through our experience growing our family.

Today's word : Vulnerability. A word that gets slid into my DM's or texts weekly. A word that I never paid much attention to before but have now found great pride in. What I thought would be seen as "over sharing" has instead been appreciated by many. Being vulnerable is not a sign of weakness or requesting any sort of pity party. Being vulnerable is an action put forth to gain awareness & advocate for those who just aren't sure how. Being vulnerable, from what I am learning, is His secret weapon.

The way I see it, God's goodness in my life, His faithfulness & kept promises won't be seen as strongly if the bad was never made known. The bad is what we as humans use to relate to, to build connections so we don't feel as alone. My purpose on this earth is to shine a Light & bring Glory to God. Being "vulnerable" helps me show that the darkness is temporary. That it absolutely sucks. But the Light will soon prevail. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
God is always good. I know this for many reasons, but a big one is by seeing the positive attributes I am gaining in my character during the absolute hardest struggle of my life.
