Our Small RV Bathroom Update

Welcome to a space I have yet to share until this project was complete! We decided to spruce up the bathroom of our rv a bit with this small rv bathroom remodel. By both showing that you do not need to do much to update a space & that you can also stay within a budget, I truly feel like this now belongs in our home. It makes sense now. Purchasing most of our items from Amazon, we were able to get everything to our door in TWO days & installed in ONE. This was a one weekend project & that is a beautiful thing.

You can shop our bathroom update with in this post! Like I said, most everything was from amazon so it was a super simple shopping experience. We went with a route that both created a simple look but one that would blend in with the existing design. Painting was not something we were too interested in over coming, so brightening up the space with a white shower curtain really did the trick. Every item we chose for this space was thought out to be practical yet assist on the ambiance.

Using the most of our Space

I have said it before & I will say it again. Using the most out of your space is the key to simple living. This means decorating with practical items that can server more than one purpose. Whether it is something you use or holds something you use, finding a decorative version saves you money & helps create a cozy space. These shelves can be found on Amazon & are linked below. They are delicate yet super efficient. Without sticking out of the wall too much or being too wide, these small space savers have a big job. We considered making our own, but finding these at such a great price & having the metal bar to secure belongings during travel was a game changer. Add a few towels to open up cabinet space & some decorate jars to hold your Q-tips & cotton balls - you are good to go!

Some favorite mirrors to add to your rv. I was unable to find a link for the one pictured above, however we purchased it at Hobby Lobby. Here are just some fun one’s I found from Target! - Always be sure to check the dimensions to be sure you have a good fit.

Unfortunately I was unable to find the mirror we bought. We found ours at Hobby Lobby, but I was able to find a few fun shaped accent mirrors from Target & linked them above. Adding this arabesque design onto of the simplistic subway tile, you are able to make a small space look dimensional & upscale.

Making a Small Space Larger & Live-able

Living tiny means living intention & making the most of your space. Painting is absolutely not necessary if it is a feat you do not want to under take. I love the bright white spaces, especially as bright spaces look bigger. Instead of painting, I went with a white shower curtain & some simple to install sticky subway tile. I truly think this space is completely transformed & it was so so simple.

Installation FAQ

Installation during this update was simple. We did not use any anchors when hanging the mirror or shelving. There is backing of 1/8th in plywood & the screws grabbed pretty well. Being intentional & careful about what we stored on the shelves was not difficult & when traveling, we will pack accordingly. The curtain rod is hung using a tension rod - therefore zero installation sweat was shed. Everything else like the hooks - command hooks. Game changer.
