Public speaking was never on the radar but the joys it brings from the community it creates is nothing to ignore. Dipping my toes into the world of “speaker” was an obligation to meet the needs of the nonprofit we founded, Something to Hold. It has grown to be an area I strive to grow deep roots within as it feels like a leap into God’s call to witness & to love His people. The connections made after telling our story quickly became my favorite thing — sharing mine meant hearing yours!
A casual approach to speaking through storytelling, an invitation to your community to share my family’s personal trials & triumphs would be an honor. My mission is to share vulnerability to encourage other women in sharing their pains & purposes, to start the conversation.

“The Bigger Picture” is a timeline of my family’s story from meeting my husband to where we are now. From long distance dating, being young & married, the making of our homes, waiting through infertility & losing little ones — the shadows of our triumphant mountains became our focal points through our trialing valleys. We found purpose in our pain & pray that over every listener.
